Do I need a Mt Tumbarumba Hivepass as well?

Yes. You will need to have a current annual or day pass for Mt Tumbarumba, which can be purchased through Hivepass. See www.mttumbarumba.com.au/passes

Do I need to book in Advance?

Yes, we strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot—especially on long weekends and during school holidays.

Shuttles only run when minimum numbers are reached, and rider numbers are capped to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for everyone.

Riders who book will receive a wristband, which gives priority access in the shuttle queue over Punch Card and Single Uplift riders.

Bookings close 24 hours before the shuttle session to help us plan staffing and vehicles. Bookings made after the cutoff may incur a late booking fee and are subject to availability.

Where do I catch the shuttle

The shuttle runs from the Mt Tumbarumba Trailhead (shuttle pickup on Map) to the shuttle drop off at The Tower.

We also offer a pickup at the Union Lane carpark in Tumbarumba at 8:45 AM and 1:15 PM. This helps ease parking congestion at the trailhead—and if you use this option, you’re already on the first shuttle of the session.

To use the Union Lane pickup, please add it to your booking (no extra charge). Seats are limited.

What if not enough people book?

If we don’t reach the minimum number of riders, we’ll notify you in advance and offer a reschedule or full refund.

What days/times do shuttles run?

Our shuttles typically operate on weekends, public holidays, and NSW/VIC school holiday weekdays, provided minimum booking numbers are met.
Private shuttles are also available outside these times by prior arrangement.

Shuttle Schedule:

  • Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 11:45 AM (pickup from Union Lane at 8:45 AM)

  • Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM – 4:15 PM (pickup from Union Lane at 1:15 PM)

  • There is a break between 11:45 AM and 1:15 PM, giving riders time to complete a longer trail, relax, or grab lunch from one of our Mt Tumbarumba partner businesses.

Riders can board their first shuttle from either the Union Lane Carpark (Tumbarumba township) or the Mt Tumbarumba Trailhead.
To use the Union Lane pickup, please select this option during booking to reserve your seat (no extra charge).
